Mature woodlands and windswept beaches - Golfers will be captivated by two 18-hole championship Ocean and Forest courses designed by Gary Player. The 18-hole Ocean Course and the first nine holes of the 18-hole Forest Course opened for play in October 1998 and December 2000 respectively.

Completing the world class golf facilities available is the well-appointed clubhouse atop a knoll, commanding panoramic views of the sea.

The Greg Norman-designed 18-hole Laguna Bintan Golf Course is pure inspiration for aspiring and seasoned golfers alike. Set in 60 hectares of a tropical Eden, it lets nature define the course winding through the diverse terrains of forestlands, natural wetlands, beachfront coconut groves and an abandoned quarry. The greens can be treacherous at times - practise your putting skills beforehand if you want to score on par.

Challenge the 340 metre high mountain of Gunung Bintan and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the summit. Trek through Bintan's rainforest and see giant tree which are more than 40 metres tall. Catch a glimpse of rare animals such as the Silver Leaf monkey, Sun Birds, eagles and many more. Step under the waterfall to receive a shower of blessings according to local tradition.
